Papal Bulls
Since Anna seemed troubled by the name of the Medievalists' softball team, the Papal Bulls*, I shall take a moment to explain.
We take part in the recreational summer UofT softball league made up of such teams like the English Department's "Chapman's Homer."
We have uniforms with our majestic mascot:Our numbers on the back are in Roman Numerals, of course.
As you can plainly see, we will strike much fear into the hearts of our opponents.
Bullae semper invictae.
* From Wiki: A Papal bull is a special kind of patent or charter issued by a pope and named for the seal (bulla) that was appended to the end to authenticate it.
