Land of Ahs

Still in Kansas. I'm spending most of my time either talking to Margretta over tea or slaving away in my parents' yard. Ah, the joys of home ownership. Let me tell you, I hate working in the yard. I especially hate working in my parents' yard. There is so much to do and I feel completely overwhelmed by it.

It is getting warmer here again, but we had a break in the heat so the past couple of days have been rather nice. I'm planning to grill these fabulous Buffalo steaks I bought at the Lawrence Farmer's Market a few days ago. Margretta and I also got some sweet corn there, and some blackberries to make jam. We also decided to make orange Marmalade.
